浦川に近づくにつれて、天気が怪しくなり着いた頃から雨が降り始めました。この浦川小学校は明治7年から続く151年に及ぶ歴史に幕を閉じようとしています。
訪れたこの日は、ちょうど在校生4名が卒業生3名を送り出す卒業式の日でした。今月の23日（日曜日）には閉校式が行われます。またこの町の“街の灯”が消えるようで…なんとも寂しい気持ちがこみ上げてきます。

As we got closer to Urakawa, the weather started to look ominous, and it started to rain when we arrived. Urakawa Elementary School is about to close its doors after 151 years of history, which began in 1874.
The day we visited was the graduation ceremony, where four current students sent off three graduates. The closing ceremony will be held on the 23rd of this month (Sunday). It seems that the "city lights" of this town will also go out... I feel a sense of loneliness welling up inside me.
